NFPA 8502 Standard for the Prevention of Furnace Explosions/Implosions in Multiple Burner Boilers
NFPA 8502 多燃燒器鍋爐爐膛防內(nèi)爆和外爆標準
Establishes minimum standards for the design, installation, operation, and maintenance of boilers and their fuel-burning, air supply, and combustion products removal systems. The standards requires the coordination of operating procedures, control systems, interlocks, and structural design.
Prevent dangerous furnace and boiler explosions!
NFPA 8502 provides vital safety requirements for boilers firing more than one burner and with a minimum fuel input of 12.5 million BTU/hr. It covers boilers that use pulverized coal, gas, and fuel--and is newly revised to address single fuels as well as simultaneous firing of multiple fuels. Safety requirements such as interlocks and purging are intended to prevent implosions and explosions in the combustion system. (90 pp., 1999)
